“How did you grow your following on Instagram?”
“How do you get people to interact with you on our page?”
Well, stay tuned because these 7 steps will help you… in a big way!
- Interaction is key!
This is a hard one for me because I always have a million things going on…in and outside of my brain. But you have to interact with your followers. The best way to do so is to ask a question at the end of your post! Check out this example below.
Another way to do this is to interact on your followers page! I don’t know if I am the only one that does this, but whenever someone comments on my status, I immediately do on they page to see who they are and what they area about!
A lot of people don’t know this, but hashtags are how people find you! Here are of my current hashtags that I try to use on every post!

You are allowed to use up to 30 HASHTAGS on a single caption/comment.
Do you know what that means? If you continue to comment under you post you can have an endless amount of hashtags!!
3. Post Often
Your followers want to hear from you!! They want to know that you haven’t given up on your blogging career after one month. So try to post and be as active as possible on your Instagram story.
Instagram has a poll that you can, a question and answer segment, and even let others ask you a question. So make sure that you take advantage of these things!
Partnerships are SUPER important!
Reach out to these companies! They want to do business with you, and why not save some money along the way on things that you are going to buy anyways!
Sometimes companies reach out to me, or sometimes I will just slide into a company’s direct message (DM) and introduce myself!
Sometimes they say yes and sometimes they say know, but I know one thing for sure, they ALWAYS go to my page and see what I am about!
5. Make New Friends- Blogger Friends That Is…
I am in over 20 ‘blogging’ groups on Facebook. Reach out to me to get the names of those groups!
In these groups they will have TONS of resources and tips for you…for free.com!
I know you know someone who is a blogger, so reach out to them to exchange interactions, comments, and likes!
6. Multiple Platforms!
How many platforms are you marketing on? Because according to my favorite blogger #MomCrushMonday it should be at LEAST 3!
7. Business Page
It sound weird to call your blog a business, but that’s exactly what it is when you start received free stuff or monetary gifts!
Do you have a business page for your blog, or are you just using your personal page for the blog? Studies show that when you have a ‘niche’ viewers only want to see that!
So if you are a fashion blogger, but you post 7 pictures of your adorable little nephew, it’s not that we don’t care, it’s just that we came to your page specifically to see fashion.
