Foodie: Cooking Chronicles Of a Hangry Black Woman – Shrimp n’ Grits
Yall.
Do y’all know that I’ve just now tried Shrimp and Grits??
And by just now, I mean like last month.
And now here we are, I’m completely obsessed.
So, for this meal I needed:
- Instant grits
- Cheddar cheese and milk
- Salt and pepper
- Cajun seasoning
- Green onions
- Bacon
- Shrimp
Y’all know me, and that I really hate cooking, but really love eating. So, I just winged it; and boy am I glad I did!
I made the grits (with milk and cheese), and added seasoning.
I cooked the shrimp.
I cooked the bacon.
And, I added in the green onions.
That’s it. Nothing fancy. Nothing perfect.
But the food was exquisite!
